UgaMed Medical Scheme was launched in May 2007 by insurance group East African Underwriters Ltd (EAUL). It was established to provide essential, affordable care to more people in Uganda.
UgaMed Medical Scheme is administered by Liberty Health, a South African-based financial services group, which is in turn owned by the Liberty Group.
